Coriander and jeera prices rose sharply by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today largely on the back of a pick-up in demand from local parties and overseas enquiries.
Coriander prices went up by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 10,900-15,900 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 14,400-14,900 and Rs 17,600-18,100 per quintal.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists amid rising export demand mainly pushed up coriander and jeera prices at the wholesale kirana market here.
