Coriander and jeera prices were up by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today due to fall in supplies from producing regions amid increased buying by retailers and stockists.
Firming trend in futures market also supported the uptick.
Coriander prices traded higher by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 7,400-14,100 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to Rs 18,600-18,800 and Rs 20,600-21,100 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up the coriander and jeera prices.
