Coriander and jeera prices rose further by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on increased buying by stockists and exporters amid low stocks due to fall in supplies from producing belts.
Besides, a firming trend in futures market supported the upside in prices.
Coriander prices rose by Rs 200 to conclude at Rs 11,800-16,800 per quintal.
Jeera common and best quality also traded Rs 200 each higher at Rs 16,900-17,500 and Rs 20,900-21,400 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from stockists and exporters against fall in supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up coriander and jeera prices.

Ajwain (per kg) 155-190, black pepper (per kg) 600-780, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,730-1,760 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,950-2,060.
