Coriander and jeera prices rose Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Besides, fall in supplies from producing belts and firming trend in futures market supported the upside.
Coriander prices rallied by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 11,400-16,400 per quintal.
Jeera common and best quality also traded Rs 100 each higher at Rs 16,000-16,600 and Rs 20,000-20,500 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up coriander and jeera prices.
