Coriander, turmeric fall on low demand

Coriander and turmeric prices fell Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today, owing to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks, marketmen said.
Coriander and turmeric prices fell Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 8,600-13,600 and Rs 7,700-11,900 per quintal, respectively.
Following were today's quotations per quintal:
Ajwain 13,500-18,500, black pepper (per kg) 750-950, betel-nut (kg) 180-200, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,350-1,430 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,500-1,600.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 700-770, cardamom (colour robin) 690-750, cardamom bold 730-770, cardamom extra (bold) 900-970 and cloves (kg) 940-1,070.
