Traders said trimming of positions by participants, triggered by a weak trend at the physical markets on higher supplies against absence of buying support from cattle-feed traders, mainly dampened sentiments at futures trade here.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, cottonseed oilcake for delivery in April contracts fell by Rs 11 or 0.51 per cent to Rs 2,139 per quintal, depicting an open interest of 80,200 lots.
Cottonseed oilcake for most-traded delivery in May contracts faded by Rs 9 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 2,177 per quintal, with the business turnover of 83,630 open lots.
