Police also seized fake notes of the face value Rs 2,07,500 in the denomination of Rs 1000 and 500, DCP (South) Ishwar Singh said today.
The gang was operating in areas including Lajpat Nagar and Sarojini Nagar.
The accused, Shamma was arrested on August 22 from Sarojini Nagar after she was found shopping in the market with fake currency notes, said the officer.
When Shamma's bag was checked by the police, it was found to be containing counterfeit notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500, the officer said.

Her call detail records were analysed. She disclosed that the notes had been given to her by her husband so that she could get them exchanged for real notes by shopping, the officer said.
Her husband, Shakeel Alam, was arrested from his house in Nabi Karim, Paharganj, the officer added.
Later, a joint team comprising staff of STF and police station Sarojini Nagar was sent to Motihari district in Bihar on August 26 and alleged the main supplier of counterfeit notes, Asgar Imam was arrested, said the officer.
