Country Club India Limited (CCIL), a Hyderabad-based leisure and entertainment group, has opened a fitness and vacation center in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The Jaipur centre is part of Country Club's proposed plan to set up 100 centers across the country over the next four years with a total investment of Rs 350 crore, Y Rajeev Reddy, chairman and managing director of CCIL, said in a release.
The company has opened centres at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thane. It has plans to expand its portfolio and set up fitness centres in India and abroad.
The company would set up the centres in the major metros in the first phase, and would foray into the Tier II cities in the next phase with an aim to have a pan-India presence, the release said.
Country Club currently operates out of 55 destinations across India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and West Asia. Along with, it also offers clubbing and holiday access to 175 franchises.
"With the increased health consciousness, a rising number of Indians are leisure travelling both within the country and internationally. We are combining the concepts of fitness and a lifetime of customised vacations to create a win-win proposition for our members," he said.
The Jaipur centre, which is equipped with state-of-the-art fitness tools and qualified trainers, will provide health enthusiasts an opportunity to plan their vacations under one roof, Reddy said.
