Country made pistol seized, two persons arrested

Two persons, including a party functionary, were detained today and a country made pistol and three bullets were seized from their possession at nearby Melur, police said.
On information, police detained Senthil Pandi, a political party functionary and Rajkumar moving around suspiciously at the bus stand and found them carrying a 15 cm long pistol and bullets, during a check.
Senthil Pandi is the main accused in the recent murder of one Udhayakumar in Karupayoorani village, they said.
