Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot today said the country was passing through a "crisis" period under the NDA government and people hopes that the party would return to power.
"Every citizen is staring at Congress as the country and Rajasthan are passing through a crisis under the BJP-led NDA rule," he said while addressing party workers here on the occasion of Congress' 131st Foundation Day.
"The public hopes Congress to come to power again in the 2018 Assembly polls and 2019 General Election. The 'janata' (public) is ready to hand over the mandate to Congress both at Centre and state," Pilot said.
Appealing party workers to expose the BJP governments', (both at Centre and State) false claims and corruption, he said, BJP was falsely implicating the leaders of his party and former ministers by playing negative politics.
But the Congress would give befitting reply to this, Pilot added.
Before his address to party workers, the state Congress chief unfurled the party flag and greeted party leaders and workers on the foundation day of the party.
Those who addressed the party workers on the occasion included state Congress vice president Gopal Singh Shekhawat and former Rajasthan Congress chiefs B D Kalla, Chandrabhan, and former Union Minister N N Meena.
