Couple from Rajasthan found dead in Indore hotel

A young boy and a girl from Rajasthan, who were apparently lovers, today allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in a hotel room here, police said.
The police identified the deceased as Kankudi (27) and Kartik (19).
In-charge of the Chhoti Gwaltoli police station Veerendra Pratap Sharma told PTI that both of them hailed from Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan and had arrived here last night on a motorbike.
While checking into the hotel, they had said they were husband and wife.
The door of the room remained shut till afternoon today, making the hotel staff suspicious. When it was forced open, police found the couple dead on the bed.

There was a foul smell in the bathroom as the boy and the girl apparently vomited after swallowing a poisonous substance.
No suicide note was found, Sharma said, adding, the bodies have been sent for autopsy.
