The deceased have been identified as Tasleem (50) and his wife Nanhi (45). The incident happened when a massive explosion occurred at the house of one Wasir Khan who is a fire-cracker manufacturer. The firecrackers stored at his house erupted causing the explosion and the roof collapse at Tasleem's house, they said.
The couple sustained serious injures and later died during their treatment, police added.
The matter was being probed further, they said.
