Couple killed, sons injured in attack

A couple was hacked to death and their two sons were injured when the family was attacked allegedly by relatives over property dispute in Palamau district early today, police said.
Two daughters of the deceased managed to flee from the attackers at Sajwan village under Haidernagar police station.
Ramsunder Mahato (52) and his wife Manorama Devi (50) had a quarrel with some of his relatives over a piece of land, following which the relatives allegedly attacked them with sharp weapons killing them, district Superintendent of Police, Indrajeet Mahato said.
Their two sons, Dharmendra and Dhirendera, rushed to rescue their parents and suffered injuries, he said.

Three persons were arrested and one was at large, the SP said.
