Court allows IT dept access to chargesheet against Jagan

The special CBI court here today permitted the Income Tax Department to have access to the fourth chargesheet pertaining to VANPIC aspect of disproportionate assets case involving YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The IT department here had filed a plea in the court seeking access to chargesheet and other related documents for carrying out assessment of Jagati Publications, owned by Jagan, for financial year 2012-13.
Industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, promoter of Vadrarevu and Nizampatnam Ports and Industrial Corridor, had allegedly invested several crores of rupees in Jagan's companies in return for the largessee of the state government led by the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan's father.

The fourth chargesheet is against 14 persons including Jagan and Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao and two senior IAS officers.
