Court directs police to lodge FIR in teen's kidnapping case

Three persons were booked for allegedly kidnapping a 16-year-old girl after a local court directed the police authorities to lodge an FIR in this connection.
According to the FIR, the incident happened on October 14 when three persons barged into the girl's house and abducted her while decamping with gold ornaments and cash from the house in Dhumari village here.
According to the complaint filed by the victim's father, the Station Police Officer and SSP of kotwali Jaithera refused to lodge an FIR in this connection.
The application was moved in the court where it was ordered that a case must be registered against the accused persons.

Station Officer Kailash Chandra Dubeysaid that the FIR was filed against the three accused persons yesterday and one of them is identified as Gaurav.
No arrest has been made so far in this connection, he added.
