Additional sessions judge Daya Prakash denied bail to Zakaria, currently in Tihar Jail under judicial custody, saying the case is relating to terror activities and at this stage, bail cannot be granted to him.
Zakaria, through his lawyer M S Khan, had yesterday moved his bail plea claiming he was falsely implicated by the special cell of Delhi Police.
Khan also referred to judgements by the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court to buttress his arguments.
The police, however, opposed Zakaria's plea claiming that he was involved in helping various Pakistani and Bangladeshi terrorists to infiltrate into India to carry out terror strikes across the country.
