Additional Sessions Judge R L Meena directed that the man, a Ghaziabad resident, not be arrested till the next date of hearing on June 20 after his counsel said that both the parties are likely to reach a settlement through mediation.
"Heard. In view of the above facts and circumstances, interim protection be granted to the applicant(accused) with the direction that he will not be arrested till the next date of hearing. Put up on June 20," the judge said while allowing the anticipatory bail application of the accused.
Seeking the relief of protection from arrest, his counsel said the accused will not tamper with evidence and undertook to be present before the court as and when required.
The accused contended he belonged to a good family and there was no criminal case pending against him.

According to the complaint, Risal Kanwar, a resident of Dwarka here, had booked a farmhouse in 2012 in a project in Jaipur through the dealer/broker(accused) for Rs 7,18,724.
She issued two more cheques of Rs 41,512 as EMIs to the firm and handed it over to the accused but he allegedly withdrew two cheques of Rs 41,512 each and one cheque of Rs 1.17 lakh issued in the name of the real estate firm.
The woman then lodged a case of cheating and forgery under the IPC.
