District judge S K Sarvaria reserved his order on bail plea of Chakit Ravi, the elder brother of AAP's Karol Bagh candidate Vishesh Ravi.
IPL spot-fixing accused Ritesh Bansal had alleged that he was kidnapped by four persons including Chakit.
Before reserving his order, the court heard arguments extended by Chakit's counsel A P Singh.
Singh told the court that "the complaint filed by Ritesh is false as a similar complaint was filed by him against somebody else in 2011 in which he had given a similar version of kidnapping and later on accepted money to compromise the case".

He also submitted that "the co-accused of Chakit Ravi, Lalit and Hemant, who have been named by Ritesh had in fact initiated a suit against him regarding some illegal construction and Ritesh has implicated them to settle scores."
He further submitted that Chakit "is a victim of political conspiracy to defame his family as his younger brother is an election candidate and the complaint was lodged just when his name was announced for contesting the polls".
