Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Khanna passed the order after counsel V K Anand, appearing for accused Mukesh and Akshay Singh, submitted that the authorities have not yet complied with the court's March 11 order which had called for the inquiry report on his death.
33-year-old Ram Singh had allegedly hanged himself with the help of his clothes from the grill of his cell at around 5 AM on March 11, according to jail officials.
A plea to this effect was made by counsel A P Singh, appearing for Vinay Sharma, saying his client was not produced today as he was unwell and that accused Akshay, who was in court, was also suffering from high fever and needs medical attention.
Earlier today, the prosecution had informed the court that Vinay could not be produced as he was not keeping well.
