The court issued notice to the woman on a recovery suit filed by her mother-in-law who alleged that she and her family members have "deliberately, intentionally and malafidely" hurt her by making "defamatory and derogatory remarks" in public.
The court also issued notice to the woman's parents, brother and sister-in-law, all residents of Noida in Uttar Pradesh .
"Summons be issued to the defendants on the suit for August 6," Additional District Judge Kamini Lau said.
"They (woman and her family members) inflicted physical cruelties and harassment on her husband and mother-in-law," the suit alleged, adding that the couple started living separately from the plaintiff from September 2013 after which she debarred her son and daughter-in-law from her properties.

The plea claimed that the woman has made false complaints and cases to police against her mother-in-law.
It said that in February, 2014, when the plaintiff was alone in her house, her daughter-in-law and her family members tred to forcibly enter her house and when she stopped them, they misbehaved with her and used filthy language.
It said the defendants threatened to kill her if she refused to give share of property to her daughter-in-law.
The plaintiff made several complaints at various police stations after which the defendants had apologised for their acts but they again threatened and harassed her.
"She (daughter-in-law) levelled false, frivolous allegations deliberately and intentionally as she was keeping grudge against plaintiff....
"She threatened to defame, tarnish the character and image of plaintiff in family," the suit said.
