Taking a serious note of rape victims turning hostile during trial, a local court today filed complaints against a man and a husband-wife duo in CJM's court for allegedly producing false evidence, wasting the time of the court and influencing the proceedings of the cases.
District Judge Ramesh Chandra Meena filed complaints against the three in Chief Judicial Magistrate's court and also issued notices to them, asking them why no action should be taken against them.
The trio included the father of an alleged teenage rape victim and husband-wife duo of whom the wife was allegedly raped.
In one of the two cases, a Class IX student had filed a complaint along with her father in Hindoli police station on March 13 last year against a government teacher of her school for allegedly raping her.
Police had arrested the accused and sent him to jail, but during the trial, the rape victim and her father had turned hostile in favour of the accused.
Taking a serious note of it, the judge issued a notice to the victim's father asking why no action should be taken against him and filed a complaint against him in CJM's court.
