Judicial work here remained paralysed today as advocates led a boycott over their demand for morning courts.
"It is in the interest of litigants since, in the day court, he is exposed to heat twice while, in the morning court, he is exposed to extreme heat only once.
"In the interest of litigants, we have initially decided to boycott court work till Monday. If high court does not take a favourable decision, the future course of action would be decided on Monday," said Vijai Pal Singh Tomar, the president of Bar Association of Mathura.
"If, by Monday, the high court does not decide on morning courts, then advocates would not work in post-lunch session till June 30. They would work in the morning session, that is, up to 1.30 P.M. Only, till June 30," he added.
