Justice Pratibha Rani asked the Delhi government to decide within seven days the plea in which Rathi has sought parole to enable him to sit for his M.A first year examination scheduled to begin from December 19.
Rathi's counsel said that before the examinations he has to submit his assignments also.
Earlier on June 13 this year, the high court had granted three weeks parole to Rathi to enable him to sit for his MSc (Forensic Science) second year examination.
CBI was directed to verify the request and inform it, whether Rathi was appearing in the exam or not.
The Supreme Court had in 2012 upheld the conviction and life sentence of 10 Delhi Police officials, including Rathi, in the case.
