The programme would be held from January 11-15 for teachers working in the fields of botany, biotechnology and biology in Haryana.
An official spokesman said that the Centre has designed the programme to provide basic understanding of the skills to be used in commercial plant tissue culture and molecular biology.
He said that the course is aimed at supporting, promoting and facilitating the overall development of plant tissue culture and molecular biology in the state, providing exposure and acquaintance with practical aspects of molecular biological techniques, enhancing the practical skills of teachers and creating scientific awareness and popularising modern biological applications at the state level.
It would also include practical demonstrations by CPB faculty.
He added that maximum 20 participants would be selected for the training course.
