The Party and World Dialogue 2015 attracted over 80 delegates from home and abroad, said Communist Party of China (CPC) International Department in a statement.
They discussed topics including how to encourage clean politics, how a ruling party supervises itself, relations between law and Party discipline and global cooperation to crack down on corruption, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
In their addresses, former South African President Thabo Mbeki, former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and former Italian Prime Minister Massimo D'Alema praised the CPC's strict running of the party.
Several Chinese top leaders including former national security chief, Zhou Yangkong along with thousands of officials were held in the anti-corruption campaign launched after President Xi Jinping took over in 2013.
Reform, corruption crackdown and relations with Japan are Xi Jinping's biggest challenges, said Minxin Pei, professor at Claremont McKenna College.
Wang Jiarui, head of the party's international department has said the government was "most concerned" and "most worried" about the problem of corruption.
