"In last 11 months of BJP rule, the atrocities against women have risen unprecedentedly and the situation is beyond control for the new government", Vasudev, CPI-M functionary said in a statement here.
"This is the BJP's deteriorating law and order situation specially when there is a woman Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje", he said.
On Nov 8, a 45-year-old woman was allegedly paraded half-naked on a donkey by some Panchayat members at Thuravad village in Rajsamand district here on the suspicion of being involved in a murder case.
CPI-M would send a team of party functionary from Udaipur to take factual report, he said, adding, neither woman nor kids are safe in the present regime in the state.
