"Our party will attend the Patna rally. It is a rally against fascist forces, BJP-RSS' misrule," CPI national secretary D Raja said.
"This is another opportunity for the secular democratic forces to come together and tell the people that there is a need for resisting these forces," he added.
Raja said he and party general secretary S Sudhakar Reddy are likely to attend the rally.
The rally is seen as an attempt to forge a larger alliance of "like-minded" parties to counter the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
