CPWD tableau decked out in flowers, earthen lamps

Adorned with flowers and earthen lamps, the tableau of the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) displayed the theme of Diwali.
The CPWD tableau was among the 23 tableaux on display at the ceremonial parade that marked the celebration of India's 69th Republic Day.
The CPWD floral tableau depicted one of India's biggest festivals -- Diwali.
It displayed the ancient architecture of India and the celebration of the festival. The front portion of the tableau displayed traditional 'diyas' and rangoli of flowers.
The back and top of the tableau were decorated with earthen diyas.
