In December 2015, Godrej Agrovet picked up majority stake in Creamline Dairy products for Rs 150 crore.
Creamline Dairy Products Ltd has processing capacity of 10 lakh liters of milk per day. It has presence in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and parts of Maharashtra.
"We are setting up a new dairy plant at Vishakapatnam with one lakh litre capacity. The investment is about Rs 30 crore," Creamline Dairy Products Chief Executive Officer P Gopalakrishnan told PTI.
Launching the fortified milk Enrich D, under the Jersey brand, which is targeted at health-conscious customers, he said, "We are a strong player in South India. With the new plant we will be able to serve in Odisha too."

"The marketing campaign will begin from October 7 onwards," he said, adding the company was in the process of scaling up its business across various categories as the industry was growing 25-30 per cent year-on-year.
Creamline Dairy has about 5,000 outlets in South and has about 800 agents in Tamil Nadu alone, he noted.
