Cricket for differently-abled players inaugurated

Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu today inaugurated the 2nd mini national day- night cricket for persons with disabilities here.
Nine states are taking part in the three-day tournament in which a total of 144 players with 20 to 80 per cent physical disability will be seen in action.
The matches will be played with international standard hard deuce balls.
Addressing the gathering, Murmu appreciated the organisers - by Tata steel and Jharkhand Board of Divyang Cricket Association - for giving a platform to the differently abled persons to display their talent.
The nine states participating in the tournament are Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
