Criminal carrying reward of Rs 50,000 arrested

A man, wanted in several cases of alleged assault on police in the national capital and neighbouring states and carrying an award of Rs 50,000 on his head, was arrested today by the Crime branch sleuths.
The accused identified as one Aamin alias Tillu was a native of Dhauj village in Faridabad of Haryana and wanted by the Delhi and Haryana police in various cases of attempt to murder and assault.
"Police received a tip off about the accused coming near Sohna Chowk, Palwal in Haryana following which a team of south-eastern range under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh laid a trap and apprehended him.
"Previously arrested by the Haryana Police, Aamin (25) had cases like attempt to murder, theft and assault registered against him. Aamin also leads a gang in Mewat region and had a cash reward of Rs 50,000 on his head," said Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime).
Aamin was also accused of not appearing in the Court in several hearing cases and arrest-warrants had been issued against him. He has been charged under relevant sections of IPC, Yadav added.
