Criminal held with pistol in Jammu

A criminal was today arrested and a country-made pistol was seized from his posession in the outskirts of the city, police said.
Mushtaq Ahmad alias "Noni" was arrested during a raid in Bahadur Khan village in Miran Sahib area, a police spokesman said.
He said the raid was conducted on a specific information and a 'Katta' (country-made pistol) and a 'toka' (sharp-edged weapon) were seized from his possession.
The police has registered a case against the criminal who is being questioned, the spokesman said.
