Devendra Siroha alias Debu was held by a team of Kavi Nagar police and Noida Special Task Force on Sunday, police said.
SHO Kavi Nagar Ashok Shishodia said that Debu, a native of Saidpur village in Bulandshahr, was a terminated constable of Delhi Police.
A reward of Rs 50,000 was declared on him by Indira Puram police in 2008 after his alleged involvement in a Rs 25 lakh robbery from a bank, he said.
A jewellery shop was also looted by his gang in Kavi Nagar area. Debu is wanted in more than 18 cases of loot and dacoity at various police stations of NCR region, the SHO said.
