"Those who are raising unnecessary objections on the proposed visit are lacking understanding of the changing world political scenario," senior Hurriyat leader Abdul Gani Bhat told a meeting of the amalgam here.
"The Hurriyat Conference believes in chalking out its strategy after taking into account ground and historic realities," he said.
Apparently referring to hardline Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani who rejected Pakistan's invitation, Bhat said "some people have made it a habit to raise unnecessary objections."
Besides Geelani, Executive memeber of Hurriyat Shabir Ahmad Shah had also openly objected the proposed visit saying it was timed with elections in the neighbouring country.
"There is no linkage between general elections in Pakistan scheduled for next year and the proposed visit of our delegation.
"Kashmiris are the real masters of the issue," Bhat said.
