The long queues of people on roads for collection of free ration from government fair price shops and groups of migrant labourers have weakened the lockdown giving rise to fears of further spread of the coronavirus, officials said on Sunday.
The social distancing, only option to break the chain of infection, has been flopped in last two days, the experts in medical and health fields said.
Free ration wheat for March and April is being distributed with police presence, but the crowding at fair price shops are increasing the risk of the spread of the virus, District Supply Officer Surendra Rathore said.
