CRPF jawan commits suicide

shot himself dead at a camp in Assam's Chirang district, official sources said.

The jawan, identified as Biplab Ghosh, allegedly shot himself with his service revolver at the CRPF camp at Bengtol area of the district.

The jawan was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Ghosh hailed from Burdwan district of West Bengal and the cause of his alleged suicide is yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
