CRPF Jharkhand Sector gives women important duties

The CRPF's Jharkhand Sector today observed the International Women's Day by entrusting important duties such camp security management, manning the control room to women officers and personnel.
To mark empowerment of women, duties such as, camp security management, functioning of control room and other important duties in the sector headquarters were entrusted to the women officers/personnel posted in this sector, said a press release.
The objective was to dispel the impact of gender bias and to empower women in increasing their contribution in building a strong nation, Deputy Commandant (Public Relations Officer) Prakash Chandra Badal said in the release.
