CRPF personnel commits suicide

A CRPF personnel allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with the service rifle belonging to his colleague in West Midnapore district today, police said.
CRPF Radio Operator of 144 battalion D K Hazari snatched the AK-47 rifle from a colleague and allegedly shot at himself at the para-military forces' camp in Jamboni in West Midnapore district, the police said.
He was rushed to the Jhargram Civil Hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said.
DIG CRPF B D Das inspected the Jamboni camp of the force and said an investigation would be carried out to find why Hazari committed suicide.
