The team comprising CRS South East Circle, Kolkata Sudharshan Nayak and other senior railway officials assessed the condition of the BG railway track and inspected the construction work of tracks, bridges, tunnels, signals, railway stations etc. For early running of passenger trains between Lumding and Silchar, N-F Railway sources today.
According to the CRS team, the inspection report will be submitted to the higher railway authority and accordingly the decision for running of passenger trains will be finalised.
