Crude bombs recovered in Malda district

A large number of crude bombs were recovered from a mango orchard in Baishnab Nagar police station area of Malda district, police said on Sunday.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided Khosalpur village and recovered a total of 165 crude bombs were kept in buckets.

The bomb squad diffused the bombs on Sunday.

It was not clear who had stored the bombs there, police said.
