Crude oil futures declined 0.15% to Rs 5,822 per barrel today in line with a mixed trend in Asian trade.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in September shed Rs 9, or 0.15%, to Rs 5,822 per barrel, with a business volume of 645 lots.
Oil prices for October delivery moved down by Rs 7, or 0.12%, to trade at Rs 5,804 per barrel, with a business volume of 56 lots.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for delivery in October eased by 18 cents to $95.78 while Brent for October rose 7 cents to $103.26 a barrel in mid-morning trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Marketmen said the fall in crude oil futures was mostly in tandem with a mixed trend in Asian trade ahead of a public holiday in the US and as dealers digest downcast Chinese manufacturing data.
