Crude palm oil prices went down by 0.63% to Rs 443.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators offloaded positions amid subdued demand in the spot markets against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in November fell Rs 2.80, or 0.63%, to Rs 443.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 126 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October traded lower by Rs 2.60, or 0.58%, to Rs 442 per 10 kg in 63 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators on the back of weak demand in the spot markets against adequate supplies led to a fall in crude palm oil futures.
