Crude palm oil prices declined by Rs 2.10 to Rs 547.50 per 10 kg today, as speculators offloaded positions amid a weakening global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in January declined by Rs 2.10, or 0.38%, to Rs 547.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 31 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in December shed Rs 1.70, or 0.31%, to Rs 544.10 per 10 kg in 15 lots.
Meanwhile, palm oil for March delivery lost 0.60% to 2,610 ringgit ($792) a tonne on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange after data showed exports fell from Malaysia, the world's second-largest producer.
