Crude palm oil prices fell by 0.57% to Rs 447.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators offloaded positions amid subdued demand in the physical market against adequate stocks.

In futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June shed Rs 2.60 or 0.57% to Rs 447.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 205 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in May traded lower by Rs 2.50 or 0.55% to Rs 447.40 per 10 kg in 203 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators and subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks, mainly led to the fall in crude palm oil futures prices.
