Crude palm oil futures prices fell 1.11% to Rs 460.50 per 10 kg today after speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid subdued spot demand.
Moreover, lower edible oil prices in global markets weighed on crude palm oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April declined by Rs 5.20, or 1.11%, to Rs 460.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 507 lots.
Analysts said profit-booking by speculators at existing higher levels and subdued demand in the spot market combined with higher supplies from the major producing belts influenced crude palm oil prices.
