Crude palm oil futures traded 1.26% down at Rs 445.10 per 10 kg today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid subdued spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in March eased by Rs 5.70, or 1.26%, to Rs 445.10 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 274 lots.
Similarly, Crude Palm Oil for delivery in April traded down by Rs 4.40, or 0.97%, to Rs 445 per 10 kg in 210 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at existing higher levels, subdued demand in spot market weighed on crude palm oil futures.
