Crude palm oil prices rose by 0.32 per cent to Rs 440.80 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions amid rising domestic demand and tight supplies from producing belts.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in January next year advanced by Re 1, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 440.80 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 102 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in December added 80 paise, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 433.20 per 10 kg in 81 lots.
Analysts said besides rising demand in the spot market, tight supplies from producing belts mainly kept crude palm oil prices higher at futures trade.
