Crude palm oil prices were down by 0.11 per cent to Rs 449.00 per 10 kg in futures trading today as participants indulged in reducing positions, triggered by higher supplies from producing belts against subdued demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June month declined by 50 paise, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 449.00 per 10 kg in business turnover of 171 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in May contracts shed 40 paise, or 0.09 per cent to Rs 447.50 per 10 kg in 288 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by traders on the back of sluggish demand in the spot market influenced crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
