Crude palm oil futures gained 0.82% to Rs 461.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions on hopes of higher demand driven by festive and marriage season.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange crude palm oil for October rose by Rs 3.80, or 0.82%, to Rs 461.90 per 10 kg, with a trading volume of 64 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in September went up by Rs 3.10, or 0.66%, to Rs 468.60 per 10 kg, with a business volume of 15 lots.
