At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in August was trading higher by Rs 2.90, or 0.59 per cent to Rs 494.10 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 198 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in July contracts moved up by Rs 1.50, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 505.40 per 10 kg in 149 lots.
Analysts said increasing of positions by traders on the back of pick-up in demand at the spot market, mainly led to rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
